LagomBudget (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is built with privacy in mind. This policy describes what data we collect when you use our website and, when it launches, our mobile app.
Website (lagombudget.com)
When you visit our website we may collect:
- Waitlist sign-up: If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address so we can notify you when LagomBudget launches. We use a third-party service (Formspree) to process sign-ups. We do not use your email for marketing beyond that single launch notification unless you opt in later.
- Usage data: Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and operation. We do not use this to track you personally.
LagomBudget app (when launched)
The LagomBudget app is designed to be private by default:
- No account required: You can use the app without creating an account. Budget and expense data can be stored locally on your device only.
- No bank connections: We do not connect to your bank or financial institutions. You enter your own numbers.
- Optional cloud: If we offer optional sync or backup in the future, we will describe what data is stored and how it is protected in an updated policy and in the app.
Data we do not sell
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
Data retention
Waitlist emails are kept only to send the launch notification and, if applicable, occasional product updates you can opt out of. You can ask us to delete your email at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights or ask questions about this policy, contact us using the link in the footer.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, for significant changes, we will indicate the “Last updated” date at the top.
